If, for reasons beyond our control (such as illness, unemployment, scheduling conflicts, etc.), you need to cancel your guest accommodation contract, depart prematurely, or arrive late, we will naturally make every effort to find replacement bookings.

If we are unable to achieve replacement bookings, or only partially succeed, you are still obligated to pay the accommodation fee according to legal requirements. We waive this obligation up to 1 month before the scheduled arrival. In the case of shorter cancellations, delayed arrivals, or early departures, we must insist on 80% of the accommodation costs. You can protect yourself against this by taking out travel cancellation insurance. In the event of a cancellation, we reserve the right to charge a handling fee for our efforts in securing alternative bookings, typically amounting to €50, which will be offset against the deposit. It is within your discretion to demonstrate a lower expenditure in individual cases.

To ensure that you are compensated for possible financial losses in the event of cancellation or interruption of your stay, such as unemployment , accident, or due to illness – even within the family – we recommend the products of our partner, ERGO Travel Insurance.

Note: If you have purchased cancellation insurance with our insurance partner ERGO and need to reschedule (due to COVID-19), you can easily 'carry over' the insurance if the old and new bookings fall within the same price category
